Matt Nye began his career in 2004 at the age of 17 as a director in his junior year of high school, adapting and directing "Caligula C.E.O." for theater audiences of Harrisburg. The production ran for three performances and an encore, making the front page of the 150th anniversary commemorative edition of The Patriot News.
At 20, he wrote, directed, and produced a no-budget indie feature. The film "Two for Three" cost an estimated 500 dollars with a rigorous shooting schedule from August through November of 2007. Balanced amid a fall and spring semester's worth of classes, Nye premiered the film in March of 2008. Later that July, the film qualified in an online competition and screened at Tribeca Cinemas. Soon after, it received distribution through Amazon.com.
Today, Red Sauce Films is devoted to the development of commercials, corporate videos, music videos, and weddings.
